STARBUCKS KOREA / HANGEUL DAY

For the Starbucks Korea's first Hangeul Day mug, we decided to emphasize the aesthetics of Hangeul’s unique letterform.
On the layout, we deconstructed consonants and vowels that make up “Starbucks Coffee Korea (스타벅스 커피 코리아)” into dots and lines, 
and then reconstructed them into a composition that celebrates the beauty of Hangeul typography.
The juxtaposition between large shapes and thin lines, as well as black ink texture and metalic foil effects, results in a layout full of typographic drama. 
The unique handle shape represents one of the consonants.
